Foreign Loren got back last night from playing shows in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo with Kapiano this weekend. You can find a link to the podcast of our live show on 5432fun! on www.myspace.com/5432fun to listen to. On that show, we just jumped back and forth between bands, each doing 2 songs at a time. We ended with two covers. We had a wonderful time and we hope you enjoyed the show!
On Friday, April 11, we played a show at Higher Groundz in SLO with Kapiano, Iamb, and Little Nation. It, too, was a fun show! We met some great people and are just in love with everyone!
In a couple of weeks, we'll have a house show in San Diego to release the CD out here. Look forward to that! Thanks to all those who shared this really cool weekend with Kapiano and ourselves!

Well, I feel it best to tell you that, beside the fact that my computer just made a questionable beeping noise, we ordered the CDs. I also feel it best to tell you that this release is cursed. But anyway. I don't want to talk about it. You can download the release on our myspace pages on Wednesday, April 9, and it will be more or less officially released on April 10. Listen next week Thursday, April 10, to Kapiano and Foreign Loren play live on www.kcsb.org at 10pm.

We just posted "Seaside, We Collide" onto the Myspace. Now, you may think that you've heard this before, as we even have a little video for it (based on home videos we played on a tv during a show once, by the way), but that track for the video was mostly a live track. This is the final track. Go listen!

Kapiano just let me know that they finished their side of the split! We'll be working on some art for this, then we're getting it pressed. April is almost here and we're all so excited! I also just added the mp3 of "Winter Coats" for download on the side bar. It will be on the FL side of the split.

We're about done mixing our four tracks. Kapiano is finishing up recording. From April 10-12, Foreign Loren will be playing shows up the coast to support this release. Kapiano will be playing some of the shows with us. We'll be hitting Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and the Los Angeles regions. San Diego shows will be booked as well, but not on that weekend. If you don't live in any of these location (or even if you do), you can hear Foreign Loren and Kapiano live on KCSB's 5432fun! radio show on kcsb.org. The show is from 10pm-12am, so we'll play sometime between then. Be sure to listen!
